Dracula in London [dracwin] (SDJ Enterprises, Inc., reg. fee: $14) is a
graphic adventure game for Windows 3.1. You will assume the roles of the
characters from the classic story as you hunt down the evil Count Dracula.
Use your wits (as well as holy water, garlic, wooden stakes, etc.) to
destroy the blood-sucking fiend before another innocent victim is killed.
Requires a 386 or better, hard disk, and VGA.
DuckHunt 1.0 [duckhnt] (Andrew G. Novotak Jr., reg. fee: $15) is a colorful
duck hunting simulation. It includes 256-color graphics, authentic digitized
sound effects, and a MIDI music soundtrack. Requires VBRUN300.
K-Chess for Windows 1.0 [kchesw10] (Ark Angles, reg. fee: $12) is an
educational Chess program for Windows that shows its own calculations as it
works. It features various types of hints and help, and can devise the best
line of attack for several moves ahead. One or two players may participate,
or you can observe the computer in auto-play mode. Keyboard and mouse input
is accepted.
Lotto Tracker 3.0 [lt30] (Warrensoft, reg. fee: $35) keeps track of any
lottery and provides forecasting, graphics, and other statistics about
lotteries. Other features include lotto pool accounting and wheeling
options. Requires WIN31, and EGA.
Master of the Maze 1.05 [mastmaz] (Spice Software, reg. fee: $15) is an
incredible 3-D maze game. NEW: fixes display problems.
Strip Poker for Windows 1.03 [STRIP1, STRIP2, STRIP3, STRIP4] (Juergen
Schroeder, reg. fee: $35) is an erotic card game for Windows 3.1. If
features "R" rated SVGA graphics and digitized WAV sound files. A hard disk
is required.
Thoroughbred Handicapper Pro 1.0 [THP] (James S. Nixon, reg. fee: $30.00)
has a powerful combination of commonly used handicapping techniques to
calculate point scores. Provides reports for both handicapping and wagers.
Includes tracking of all wagers and choice of basic or advanced handicapping;
Ultima 21 Deluxe for Windows 1.7c [ultima21] (Bitwise Software,
International, reg. fee: $40) allows you to play blackjack in several
different casinos with computerized or human players. Requires 2meg RAM,
hard disk, and VGA.
Backup 1.1 [BACKUP] (Mark Brownstein, reg. fee: $12) is a board game for
four players, three of whom may be computer players. The object is for all
four of your pieces to go from your start box to your home box without being
bumped off by the other players.
Cross Words Deluxe 2.0 [CWDLX2] (Edward E. Dellow, reg. fee: $20) is an
electronic crossword puzzle book for Windows.
Destroyer for Windows 2.0 [D4W20] (Don E. Krafcheck, reg. fee: $20) is a
Windows version of the classic Battleship board game. You can pit America's
navy against the Japanese or the British against the Germans. Try to
pinpoint your enemies naval fleet by searching the peg positions on the
board. With each play, watch as the missile hits a target, sending the
vessel into flames, or as it splashes into the ocean. Sink the entire fleet
before they sink yours and you win.
Keno for Windows 2.0 [KENO2] (Don Hofer, reg. fee: $12) is based on the
popular Vegas gambling game.
KENO+PLUS 1.0 [KENOPL] (Keno+Plus, reg. fee: $10) is a Windows' version of
the popular casino game Keno. The player can readily determine the odds and
payoffs of all possible outcomes for a given ticket. It features a complete
listing of odds and payoffs, random ball selection, ball selection
summaries, a list of winning combinations, and suggested strategies.
Requires VGA and VBRUN300.
Klotz for Windows NT 3.05 [KLOTZ4NT] (Wolfgang Strobl, reg. fee: $0) is a
game similar to Tetris for Windows NT.
Quotes 2.0 [QUOTES] (Richard Davis, reg. fee: $10) displays a random
humorous quote or quip.
CardShark Hearts 4.07 [CSHEARTS] (Nelson Ford, reg. fee: $29) is a strong,
multi-featured game of Hearts for Windows. NEW: minor bug fixes. Requires
VBRUN200.
Cyberspace Crossword Puzzle 1.24 [3dxwd] (Ivory Tower Software, reg. fee:
$0) is a 3-D crossword puzzle game. Requires VBRUN300.
Black Box 1.1 [bbox11] (Simon Farrell, reg. fee: $5) is a logic game where
you have to figure out the location of targets in a grid by firing rays into
the box from any edge.
Cipher 3.0 [ciphrbt] (Brad Trupp, reg. fee: $0-10) is a deciphering game
for Windows. NEW: increased number of puzzles to 1400.
Dots 1.0 [dots] (Chad A. Olson, reg. fee: $5) is a simple strategy game you
play against the computer. You must select from 1 to 3 dots in a line each
turn, and the player to capture the last dot wins.
Fifteens 1.0 [fiftn10] (Philip Bush, reg. fee: $5) an innovative solitaire
game. A grid of cards is generated and you must remove sets of cards whose
value totals 15. Face cards can only be removed in sets of 4 like cards.
Other features include a top scores list and a timer option. Requires
VBRUN300.
Frustration [frust] (Chad A. Olson, reg. fee: $12) is a game of luck and
skill where you try to get all the tiles on the playing field crossed out.
This is accomplished by rolling the dice and then selcting a tile or a
number of tiles with points that match the total of the dice roll. There is
a 25-game limit to this version.
Pyramid 1.6 [pyr16] (Philip Bush, reg. fee: $5) is an interesting version
of solitaire where you must remove pairs of cards whose value totals 13.
Requires VBRUN300.
Amazon Skulls 1.0 [skulls] (TOGGLE BOOLEANS, reg. fee: $0) is an unusual
strategy game for Windows. You take turns with the computer placing skulls
on the playing grid, making sure that the skull being placed touches the
last skull played but no others. Three different skill levels are available,
and the playing grid ranges from 5x6 to the "Pit of Death" (shown). If the
rather gruesome skulls are not to your liking, you can change them to happy
faces.
SuperShowDown [SSD] (reg. fee: $0) is a fun game of poker solitaire for
Windows 3.1. You must try to deal yourself 12 poker hands onto a 5x5 grid.
The computer caculates your scrore as each card is played. This is not
especially easy to win, because the computer receives 5 points for every
card you play that doesn't pay off.
Word Search for Windows 3.0 [WORDSRCH] (Steven D. Stern, reg. fee: $15)
makes scrambled word puzzles from a set of words you enter.
